Wetland Permitting

Wetland Permitting

Ames Associates has over 10 years of experience preparing wetland permit applications for construction and repair of waterfront structures such as docks, beaches and boathouses.

Wetland permitting in New Hampshire is regulated by the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Wetlands Bureau under RSA 482-A. Any dredging, filling, or construction in or adjacent to wetlands, surface waters, or their banks requires a permit.

Our team has extensive experience with all types of wetland permit applications, from minor projects such as dock repairs to major projects involving significant wetland impacts. We understand the regulatory requirements and work to develop project designs that minimize wetland impacts while meeting our clients' needs.

We handle all aspects of the wetland permitting process, including wetland delineation, impact assessment, mitigation planning, permit application preparation, and agency coordination.
