Septic Design

Ames Associates provides professional septic system design services for residential and commercial properties throughout New Hampshire.

Septic system design in New Hampshire is regulated by the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) under RSA 485-A:29-44 and the NH Rules for the Design, Installation, and Maintenance of Septic Disposal Systems (Env-Wq 1000). All septic systems must be designed by a licensed Site Evaluator.

Our licensed Site Evaluators have extensive experience designing septic systems for a wide range of site conditions, including challenging sites with high groundwater, shallow soils, or limited space. We work closely with our clients to develop cost-effective designs that meet regulatory requirements.

Having our septic design services in-house allows us to coordinate the septic design with other aspects of the project, such as shoreland permitting and wetland permitting, providing a seamless and efficient process for our clients.
